So I did something this week that I can tick off my bucket list. Charlotte O'Connor, or Charlotte OC as she's professionally known, is probably my favourite artist of all time. After seven years of listening to her music, I finally got to go to a gig of hers, and not only that, but I got to meet her too! 

She's an artist that channels the emotion of Lana Del Ray and the attitude of Aretha Franklin in her new music and is tipped as being one of 2015's musicians to watch. 



So on Wednesday evening, I got all dressed up to go to Hoxton's Bar and Kitchen to watch her perform - and it was amazing. 




























Sipping on a Desperados to calm my nerves, I plucked up the courage to go and talk to her, and of course, asked for a selfie! She was so kind and sweet and outrageously beautiful.
